They require experienced designers, but offer powerful and highly integrated solutions, as they can typically substitute up to 10 "normal" integrated circuits in more traditional designs. Among the applications: innovative illumination systems, USB, capacitive sensing. Cypress PSOC offer dynamically reprogrammable analog and digital matrix modules together with a programmable risc.
